Now in its 4th generation of family leadership, Vitamix is the most highly regarded personal and commercial blender in the world. The company employs over 750 people and sells globally in over 90 countries. Without its lean capabilities, Vitamix would not have been able to absorb the phenomenal growth of 2010-2013 and position itself for long-term continuous improvement.

What you will see and learn:

Attendees will learn about the Vitamix Lean journey, which, like most, has not been a straight line. You will talk with team members, leaders, and operations executives who will share their stories, successes and learning.
Most of the time will be spent touring the primary production facility, stopping to observe and discuss specific aspects of the Vitamix lean system. Highlights will include visual metrics in production and non-production areas and the integration of problem solving and kaizen with those metrics.

Dress Code/Safety Requirements:

Please wear proper shoes (no heels, sandals or other open toe shoes). Bring safety glasses if you have them.
Cameras and video equipment are NOT permitted.
