Choosing the right KPIs for the Johnson Control Manufacturing system has been key to its success.  This presentation summarizes how to choose the appropriate KPIs (which ones and how many) to visualize process performance, to identify actions that reinforce key success factors, and to minimize reactiveness, thus enabling course correction. It will explain why a "process drives results” approach has been essential, and what leading indicators can positively impact targeted performance. This information is presented in a pragmatic and visual way, including examples from a Johnson Controls plant that has been selected as a winner of the 2016 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards.
